The only hard part about it is that I'm looking for something with no credit check or income verification. My husband has bad credit and I have non. And also no income verfication because he can verify his income mines I can't cause I do childcare out of our home. We make enough money together to pay $850 or $900 rent maybe a little more but with just his income alone we wouldn't get it. Remind you that with both together we can. What are typical terms in Rent-to-Own home aggreements? I had found information on two different types of terms. One was straightforward with a house valued at $200k renting for $1k a month but rent to own was $1,200 a month with $400 in credit each month towards down payment if renter decides to purchase. Is this pretty typical? What would you say these terms would be for a house valued at $250k? If this helps, we are dealing directly with the home owners.

Rent to Own Homes...good idea? My fiance and I are contemplating whether buying a home or renting-to-own one, is a better idea. Currently I am 4 months pregnant and we wont to have something established by time the baby gets here. As a former loan officer I dont really know of too many people who can go through the process of getting a home that fast, especially not with credit like ours, lol.
