Are rent to own homes good deals?
Please help, looking to buy a home and I am coming across alot of ads that say rent to own. Pay only 1100 dollrs a month for a 3br home in brooklyn NY. These ads sound so good, but I know its a catch. Please give me info on these homes or are these scams.

- Rent to own homes are good for those who do not have the cash for a down payment and settlement costs necessary to buy a home and who have poor credit. Only a portion of the amount paid in rent goes toward your down payment. Read the agreement carefully. At some point you may be required to exercise the purchase agreement. If you leave the home you do not get any of your money back either.
