What are the advantages & disadvantages of a rent-to-own house?
I have heard stories from both sides. Is it a waste of my time and money or a good idea? I need your opinion!

- The biggest thing would be no tax breaks. Someone else gets to deduct them. You would need attorney or Realtor representation to make sure you have some rights. Also, if you can't buy a home through normal channels, maybe you shouldn't do it. I can't think of one advantage, actually.
- i think rent to own is a good idea if you can't get the finances to buy a place, its almost the same amount of money your just helping another family out instead of giving money to a bank.
