i live in a mobile home park in louisiana and own my home but lease the land. Can i keep my dog by law?
my land lease says no pets after 2009, but my trailer has been there since 2005, but i just moved back in it. I own my home where the dog stays, can he evict me for keeping my dog

- Probably best to contact an attorney for the best answer, as much of this depends on your local & state laws. But in most cases, if you signed a lease in 2005, have kept current on payments and have not signed a *new* agreement since the original in 2005, most places would have to "grandfather" you in, as an existing pet owner. However if you just signed this new lease & it states no pets after 2009, your options are likely limited.....if you signed it, it's considered a contract, generally. Again, a local attorney would be able to advise you of any loopholes or special considerations relevant to your local & state laws. Best of luck!
