lease/option to buy home is raided what rights do tenant still have?
the home is raided and drugs found does that allow the landlord to immediately take control of home and not allow family in to get belongings. Buyer is current on the payment. Landlord also is now removing all contents to his home which belong to the buyer.

- if the tenant is current landlord should not be doing that unless he was given that right by a judge....if they are under contract to purchase house then he is breaching contract ...they can sue him if they are not delinquent in payment..but then again if the house was siezed and turned over to landlord to obtain and have suitable tenants live there it might by the slightest chance he legal but i doubt it...should check local laws
- As a tenant you have exclusive access rights. The landlord is full of it.
- the landlord should put all the tenants stuff in a safe location to be picked up...but may be keeping the property of the tenant to cover damages sustained during the raid for illegal drugs....tenant gave up all rights when they started illegal drug business.
