I am trying to rent a house but the tentant is interested in buying the house . I want to know what should be in the contract.

A paragraph stating that the percentage applied toward purchase becomes rent (or what percentage) if the renter does not purchase. 5. A term of the contract and what happens to the amount toward the purchase price if the contract is not reinstated or rolled over. 6. Any assumptions about how the owner will finance the property. Land contract or 100% bank financing. 7. Who pays the utilities and taxes and maintenance and insurance. 8. If he has insurance, the fact that you get the proceeds.
