i need help with rent own homes?

I have questions about rent to own homes, is it a good thing to do? how does it work? Has anybody done it and they have succeed? any one?

It is almost NEVER a good thing for a buyer to do. To easy for the old owner to take it back.
They work out about 15% of the time, fail 85%. Personally I see it as legal robbery. I would not recommend any one to buy this way.
