I am currently renting an apartment in Alabama but I am renting to own a house next month,can i end my lease?

  3. I think it depends on your landlord. I have a cool landlord who gives me slack and is willing to end a contract before time. I have also had landlords that that are more strict and have threatened to sue me.
  4. You are bound by the term of your lease. You may talk to the landlord and perhaps buy out the remaining months. If you break the lease the landlord can go to small claims court and get a judgment against you. That means the landlord could get his money through such means as garnishing your salary. That would kill your credit score.

Place an ad in the paper or online.. someone may want to pick up on your lease for instance, if you have a 6 month lease and you have 4 mos left, someone may only need a place for a short while. Like people who are buying houses are probably your best bet because they are in between an apt where they dont want to sign a lease and moving into their home. Or college students...
