What is the best way to find a house that is a rent to own? Or with lease option?

5. You gotta "create it". Very few are advertised. Do this: 1. Get a list of homes for rent in your desired area/price range. 2. Call and ask: "Will you take a long term lease that ends with an option to buy?" 3. Some will say: H. NO! Some will say: Maybe, please explain. Some will say: H. YES! I'm in So Cal.
