O Your Help***Please I need an example of a lease contract for a lease to own?
I want to lease a home before I buy it so I want to put together a document to propose to those home owners who are looking to sell. I would like to read up on a few contracts and docs to make sure that I know fully what I am doing.

- Before you go to all this work, ask the sellers first if they are open to the idea. Lease options for the seller are not usually a good idea and THEY should seek the assistance of a lwayer specializing in this type of law. There are specific areas that they need to protect themsleves from.
- Go to Staples or Office Depot or somewhere like that. They sell generic contracts that are appropriate for your locale. You could also go to a title company. Most of them will give you a contract. BUT the best thing to do is consult a lawyer. You're talking about a major investment, so you should be careful about where you get your advice.
- These types of documents have to be done by a Real Estate agent, Property Manager or a lawyer or it may not be legal. Just any body can't draw up a lease because there are certain requirements and laws. and we have to know what state your in bc the laws are different state to state.
