- Why would you get paid for something that has not happened yet. You may get a portion of your commission each month with the rent, but more than likely the seller does not have the money until you complete what they hired you to do....sell the house and it is not sold until the deed passes. Sorry for the straight forward answer, but it is reality. Good Luck!
