rent to own down payments refunded?
well the situation is i am about to get into a rent to own house. the land lady asks for 5000 down. i have givin her 2500 and signed what i think was the lease. and the contract thing wasnt noterized but looked as if typed. and now im thinking that maybe this isnt a good idea after all. and i dont want to do it. i have got the keys to the house nor have i moved in. and now that i dont want to go through with the rent to own im pondering about my 2500 buck i threw down. is there some way i can get it back or am i at a loss???

- You signed a lease, you are at worse then a loss, she can sue you to have it fulfilled. W/O seeing the lease you signed we can't really help.
