Lease Options in Texas?
I wanted to see what the rules were as far as lease optioning in texas is concerned. Can I take up payments on someones home, turn around and lease option the property out to a renter/buyer? I know about the HB1823 laws, but I didn't see any more information since 2005. Is there anyone doing this?

- Since you are trying to get into something unusual, Don't you think it a good idea to find a place and then see a Lawyer to get all the details down, and tie up all the loose ends. Why would you want to ask a bunch of Yahoos in here on something this drastic.
- first off.. finding a seller that will go with your little scheme is going to be next to impossible. No one os going to trust you to rent a property they are responsible for to a scumbag that will trash and destroy it makeing a financial liability for them. Technically you are operating as a real estate agent without a license and many states are closing up this loophole you watch too many get rich tv ads. Does not work that way in real life
